Iryna, a remarkable young talent, was born in the historic city of Kyiv, Ukraine, on May 17, 2006. From an early age, her passion for music became evident, and she embarked on a journey that would lead her to become a celebrated violinist.

Iryna’s musical education began at the prestigious Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum, where she would lay the foundation for her extraordinary career. Her journey under the guidance of dedicated teachers was marked by significant milestones. From 2011 to 2020, she studied under the tutelage of the accomplished Olha Korinets, who played a pivotal role in shaping Iryna’s musical prowess. In 2021 and 2022, Iryna continued her studies under the esteemed guidance of Vadym Borysov, refining her skills and deepening her understanding of the violin.

In 2022, Iryna took a significant step in her musical career by enrolling in the Haute Ecole de Musique Geneve/Neuchatel, Switzerland. Here, she joined the violin class led by the distinguished Professor Sergey Ostrovsky, furthering her musical knowledge and skills on an international stage.

Iryna’s exceptional talent did not go unnoticed, and she quickly made her mark in the competitive world of classical music. Throughout her young career, she has garnered numerous accolades and distinctions, solidifying her reputation as a rising star in the violin community. Notable achievements include being named a Laureate of the International Violin Competition “St. Hedwig Prize" with a prestigious 1st prize, as well as achieving 2nd prize at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, the Stankovych International Competition, the International Competition “LVIVSKYI VIRTUOZ," the Oleksiy Gorokhov International Violin Festival – Competition, and the Josef Hassid International Violin Competition. Her consistent success is a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication.

Iryna’s commitment to musical excellence extends beyond her formal education, as she has actively participated in a series of masterclasses led by prominent violinists and educators. Her thirst for knowledge and growth led her to engage with renowned figures in the world of classical music, including A. Broussilovsky, B. Garlitsky, B. Kuschnir, V. Sokolov, K. Schikedanz, S. Ostrovsky, K. Troussov, A. Schnarch, O. Semenenko, Y. Kless, Z. Nevgodovska, and many others. These masterclasses have enriched her playing and deepened her understanding of the violin.

Iryna’s journey also took her to the stage of some of the most esteemed orchestras and festivals in the world. She showcased her talents in the Ukrainian National Art Project “I AM A VIRTUOS!" during the years 2019, 2020, and 2021, where she performed as a soloist with the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra. In the 2021-2022 concert season, she had the privilege of gracing the stage as a soloist with the Kyiv Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, and the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra. Her performances left audiences in awe and further cemented her reputation as a virtuoso.

In June 2022, Iryna’s musical journey took her to the “Young Classic Dialog Berlin Festival," a platform that celebrates young talents from around the world. Her participation in this festival allowed her to connect with a global audience and showcase her artistry on an international stage. Additionally, she joined the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra in July 2022, an opportunity that opened doors to even more extraordinary experiences and collaborations.

Iryna’s dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed, and since 2022, she has received grant support from the VERE MUSIC FUND, which has allowed her to continue pursuing her musical dreams and honing her craft.

One of the most significant milestones in Iryna’s career occurred in December 2022 when she began playing a violin made by Augustino de Planis, a renowned violin maker from Venice in 1771. This instrument, from the collection of the LALIVE Foundation, has a rich history and is now in the capable hands of a young virtuoso who will undoubtedly make it sing with her artistry.
