Theodor Kaskiv
Theodor Kaskiv was born in 2006 in Switzerland into a family of musicians. He began playing violin at the age of 4 under the guidance of his father, Oleg Kaskiv.
In 2015, Theodor won a scholarship to study at the world renowned school «Institut Le Rosey». In 2020, he continued his study at the prestigious «Regent International School», where he is doing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
As a soloist, he has performed with multiple ensembles including «Lviv Virtuosos» Chamber Orchestra, «INSO-Lviv» International Symphony Orchestra, Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni, Menuhin Academy Soloists and Symphony Orchestra of Rosey. Since 2016, Theodor is an active concert activity. He has performed in the different concert halls of France, Switzarland, Ukraine, Italy and Belgium. Theodor is a laureate of the International Grumiaux Violin Competition where he received 2nd prize in Bruxelles 2017, also received 1st prize at the International “Lvivskyy Virtuoz” Competition 2017 in Ukraine.
Theodor has participated in multiple masterclasses with renowned teachers including Anna Chumachenko, Tetiana Zolozova Le Menestral, Dong-Suk Kang, Dora Schwarzberg, Liviu Prunaru, Tedi Papavrami, Guillaume Chilemme. He is currently studying with Oleg Kaskiv, principle teacher at the International Menuhin Music Academy and violin solo of the Menuhin Academy Soloists.
